The customer can cancel their order free of charge up to 48 hours before their pickup date or shipping date.

A full refund will be issued within 2 business days, minus any merchant processing fees that we were charged.
Note: PayPal does not refund merchant processing fees to the seller, if we as the seller issue a refund to the buyer. Therefore, if you paid with PayPal you will receive your money back minus the merchant processing fee.
The customer has no right to return the product after receipt for any reason.
The customer must check the packages at the time of delivery or pickup.
The customer is only entitled to file a complaint on the same day of the delivery or pickup.
Complaints about product quality can only be filed within 2 days and this is only possible via phone or email email@example.com
Julie’s American Cookies is not responsible for any dependencies that can occur in the event of cancellation or for damage to the product that is possible to occur during delivery.
Prices and delivery costs
The prices stated on the website are inclusive of VAT and exclusive the delivery costs. On the invoice, a breakdown of the product cost, shipping/delivery charges and tax are separated.
The delivery costs are charged before the customer confirms the order clearly communicated to the customer via the website.
Should the customer choose the wrong delivery choice and either over pay or under pay, they will be notified by email in response to their order confirmation. They will either receive a partial refund or be requested to pay an additional amount.
Shipping / Pickup / Delivery
We provide the option for you to pick up your order at our shop in the Hague by appointment or we can hand deliver your dessert items locally.
Shipping is only available for cookies and brownies only, throughout the Netherlands.
We use DHL and Post NL for shipping in The Netherlands. A tracking number will also be provided to the buyer via email.
We do not ship outside of the Netherlands.
If you do not pick-up your order on the agreed pickup time and day, we do not provide refunds.
If you provide a wrong delivery address or we are not able to contact the receiver to get instructions on where or how to deliver the items at the time of delivery, then the item(s) will be taken back to the bakery. The receiver will be responsible to either pickup the item at our bakery or pay for a 2nd delivery date/time.
All orders must be paid for in advance online. We accept PayPal, credit cards and bank transfer. We do not accept cash payments.
Your eCheck payment must be settled before we will start processing your order.
We may use your listed email or telephone to get in touch with you or the recipient of the order if we have questions or need directions.
