Cancellation
The customer can cancel their order free of charge up to 48 hours before their pickup date or shipping date.
Email us at info@juliesamericancookies.com or call us during business hours.
A full refund will be issued within 2 business days, minus any merchant processing fees that we were charged.
Note: PayPal does not refund merchant processing fees to the seller, if we as the seller issue a refund to the buyer. Therefore, if you paid with PayPal you will receive your money back minus the merchant processing fee.
Refunds
The customer has no right to return the product after receipt for any reason.
The customer must check the packages at the time of delivery or pickup.
The customer is only entitled to file a complaint on the same day of the delivery or pickup.
Complaints about product quality can only be filed within 2 days and this is only possible via phone or email info@juliesamericancookies.com
Julie’s American Cookies is not responsible for any dependencies that can occur in the event of cancellation or for damage to the product that is possible to occur during delivery. If the item has been received damaged, we can arrange a refund for the delivery fee.
Prices and delivery costs
The prices stated on the website are exclusive of VAT and exclusive the delivery costs. On the invoice, a breakdown of the product cost, shipping/delivery charges and tax are separated.
The delivery costs are charged before the customer confirms the order clearly communicated to the customer via the website. Should the customer choose the wrong delivery choice and either over pay or under pay, they will be notified by email in response to their order confirmation. They will either receive a partial refund or be requested to pay an additional amount.
Shipping / Pickup / Delivery

- Pick-up: We provide the option for you to pick up your order at our shop in the Hague by appointment or we can hand deliver your dessert items locally. If you do not pick-up your order on the agreed pickup time and day, we do not provide refunds.
- Post NL: Shipping via Post NL is available for cookies and brownies, throughout the Netherlands.
NOTES:
We do not ship outside of the Netherlands.
If you provide a wrong delivery address or we are not able to contact the receiver to get instructions on where or how to deliver the items at the time of delivery, then the item(s) will be taken back to the bakery. The receiver will be responsible to either pickup the item at our bakery or pay for a 2nd delivery date/time.
Payment
All orders must be paid for in advance online. We accept credit cards and bank transfer. We do not accept cash payments. Your eCheck payment must be settled before we will start processing your order.
We may use your listed email or telephone to get in touch with you or the recipient of the order if we have questions or need directions.

Cookie & Brownie mixed box Deal – You may use your Social Deal Coupon/Voucher # for one product on our website named Cookie & Brownie mixed box. This entitles you to a large discount off of the normal price, plus FREE shipping on that item.

How to place and order
- Navigate to the product page Cookie & Brownie mixed box.
- Choose whether to add a Greeting card yes/no.
- Type in the receivers Full Name, and Ship-To address.
- Choose your desired delivery date. NOTE: We must receive your order a minimum of 48 hours before a desired delivery date. Delivery 1-2 business days excluding Sunday and Monday.
- Add to your cart. Use 1 voucher code per 1 box order.
- On the checkout, type in your 12 digit voucher/coupon code (xxxx-xxxx-xxxx) in the Coupon Code box. Click the red button “Apply Coupon”. Your discount will be taken off of the total.
- Check out. Pay any additional amount owed.
- You will receive a confirmation order from us.
- Greeting Cards – You may add on a Greeting card for an additional amount.
- Other products – You may add on other products to your order, but you will have to pay the additional cost of the products and the shipping cost for them. Note: We DO NOT ship cookie cakes or cookie dough.
- Pick-up – If ordering other products, you may also elect to pick-up everything at our bakery kitchen via appointment. Please note this in the Special instructions section of your order.
